Help...we have tried everything,,,our 235 Gasoline model does great for 15 minutes and then sputters and stops,,,then you can start it right up and it does it again,,,,, seems to be fuel starvation related and I am wondering if the gas cap may not be vented correctly or if there is trash in the tank,,,,we have tried everything else....the gas cap on this tractor is a smooth chrome type and i am not sure if it was the original....any help will be appreciated.

The gas cap is a easy check, try running without it. If your worried about fuel spillage you can make a temp cap with aluminum foil and poke a vent hole in top, my MF65 was doing the same thing till I replaced mine with a cap from napa.
Could be that the sreen filters for your fuel system are clogged. If the cap doesnt work and your not sure of the tank and fuel supply you might want to remove the gas tank and all the line's all the way to the carb. I'm sure you will find some partially plugged screens along the way. I wish I could give you the exact location of the fuel filter's used on your tractor, but I'm not familiar with your model. That should keep you busy for a little while.
Also sometimes coils can act wierd and go out after they warm up, only to work again when they cool.
