As a complete novice i am having a little trobule with lowering the rear balance block of my new aquired MF-65. I have a loader fitted and can't find how to lower the rear concrete block i have tried every lever possible..but jsut cant get it to move, it jolts up but it appears quite random.

There will probably be a diverter valve to switch hydraulic pressure between the loader or the linkage, otherwise when you lift the loader the linkage will raise and vice versa. Alternatively the linkage arms may be held up by an A frame which will either be fixed or have a pin which you pull up with the controls in the raise position and then lower, allowing the linkage to fall. The lever with the ball end is the position control, use the top half of it's stroke to control position. Leave the other rectangular headed lever at it's rearmost position, you only need to move this if you are ploughing.

Is this block attached to the 3-point hitch? if so the levers to lower it should be to your right below the seat just above the axel.
