I just bought a massey 135. now I need to transport it over 400 miles to my property. I have two questions; can I move the rear wheels in to make the width narrower so it will fit on the trailer I'm renting ( 6'4" inside). the width as it is now is 7'.
the second question is how much does it weigh. it has a loader and wheel weights.
thanks

The minimum width on a Deluxe, Special, And Orchard Tractor is 68-7/16 inches. A vineyard tractor is 51-7/8 inches. You had better take a good socket set to pull in the front tires, seems like a 1-1/8 or there abouts for those bolts, also a jack would be in order. Don't forget you can turn the front wheels around and gain (or loose) approx 4 inches each. If you have fluid in tires:front would be 65-90 lbs. each and the rear would be 452-645 lbs each depending on the sizes. Weight of a diesel is 3645. Don't know about loader or weights ( I assume bolt on). Drive careful.

It says..... ...

If your tractor is 10,000 lbs or OVER you must use 4 tie downs. One on each corner.

If under 10,000 lbs you still only need two tie downs.

If your tractor has a loader or other attachment it must be lowered and you must have 1 tie down on each attachment.

If you have items that are not attached to the tractor you need 2 tie downs plus 1 more for each 10ft. (thats 3 for 11ft...4 for 21 ft ect)
