Hello,
I'm trying to find out exactly what year my dad's Massey Harris #33 might be. I managed to get the MEA201G off the engine but then the SN was either 1322 or 7322. Are there any differences I could see on the tractor to help me decide what year it may be? How can I tell if this is a 1952 or a 1954 year tractor? Also, I know it's difficult to tell without a photo but what would it be worth? It is in good/great mechanical condition, just needs your basic repaint and TLC to get the outside looking new again.

I'm trying to find the value of my dad's massey-harris tractor. It's a model 33, made in 1954. Any suggestions where I could find this information? He needs information for selling it outright and/or parting it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

look on top of the trans. on the casting [not] the cover just left of the shift lever or just right of the clutch it is stamped in the frame under the dirt and oil. this is the ser no. and then we can tell you

One of the ways to tell is to look at the underside of the frame for the casting date. There is also a casting date on the transmission case--left side.

I didn't know there were variations of the #33 but the front wheels are spaced (high arch type) and it is gas powered. Hope this helps a bit more. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Glen
