My MHF T035 seems to have lost oil pressure. The oil and filter have been changed recently. The oil level on the stick shows full.

Should I suspect the oil pump?

If it is the oil pump, is this a major project to repair?

Thanks

Hey Steve,
What Pete said! My Dad was real frustrated years ago with this '51 MH Pony. There was just a little crud up in the gage port. Check the simple stuff first before ya get worried about the bigger stuff. Us NY guys gotta stick together. I'm outside Syracuse at the edge of this lake effect. Pony's been working hard all week.

Hey '51Pony. We might be neighbors. You don't drive that MH down Seneca Twp now and then do ya?

Yes I do! Our wives work together, and I'm supposed to drop down there with beer, but it's been too darn cold. I figured I drop down with the MH sometime. What are you doing in the red section, aren't you orange? Well, ya ain't green so that's OK!

I believe my 245 is red. I try to keep an open mind. As a matter of fact, when I get done restoring these Allis B's,I'm thinking of a Farmall Super A. Unless I can find a reasonable Pony or '56 Fergy to redo. By the way, that's one fine lookin Pony you got. Hope to see ya soon.

Steve, In this weather...anything is a major repair, hehe (Binghamton here,) seriously, make sure it IS your pump, check the fittings and the guage, then check your lines to see if any are plugged(had one plug an a Ford N once). If it is the pump, not BIG deal, you'll have to go in far enough to drop the pan(have to split her if it's like a Ford) then you can access the pump easily...should be able to get a rebuild kit at Marshall's in Honesdale, or Harpursville Farm and Garden, and rebuild it. Give you a chance to check the clutch and it's wear parts too! Pete

This is not the time of the year to have a problem like that. It was 10 below here, but your down south. About 95 miles.

I'd be happy if it was 1 degree warmer here for every 10 miles South of you that I am!!!!!
