MF 165 Starting Problem

I have a 165 Diesel that the only way I can start it, is to jump it. It fires right up with jumper cables and runs good. I have put in a new battery that is the strongest cranking amps I could find that would fit in the case, along with new cables. even when I test the battery it shows full charge, it just wont crank the tractor over even on warm days.

check your cables and connections, i had a bad ground cable, same probs... if they are good i would suspect a bad starter like the other post did.

Check your starter. It may have bad brushes or bad armature requireing more amperage to operate. While trying to start without cables, rap on the starter with something like a small hammer and see if it takes off. If it does then you have bad brushes probably.
