Rick it depends whether you wnat to be able to make simultaneuos use of linkage and loader. If you do want linkage and loader rather than either/or then you need another pump. However I have fitted loaders to 3 different 35 tractors with 3 and 4 cylinder diesels this year and the existing pump has enough capacity for farm work if its in good order. You will need a diverter valve which selects between linkage and external services . It is a simple push pull affair that mounts on the plate in front and to the right of the seat(remove existing plate). You then need a two spool double acting control valve to operate the two way rams on lift and tilt Plumbing is easy and takes about half a day if you have a rattle gun with reverse to fit the hydraulic fittings on the ends of the hoses. ( inside they have a left hand thread ).

thanks for the info rickinoz . the way you described the set up is the same way my 150 is set up for external hyd. but i didnt know if the 35 hyd could handle it.(the 35 uses the 80-90 wt oil. the 150 takes the trans hyd. oil) doesnt a loader use trans hyd oil or just regular hyd. oil? rather than the thicker oil in the 35

Older Masseys without Multi-Power originally had 80-90 hydraulic & transmission oil. Later models used 20-20W hydraulic & transmission oil which can be used in the older models.

MF 35 should use Agri MP trans oil, I think the normal spec is 10W/30, I assume you mean EP 80/90 which could damage the hydraulic system particularly when cold. It is possible to use the 35's system with a linkage and loader at the same time, you need to have the link arms in the 'raise' position and put position into constant pumping to raise, and lower to lower. Thus you need to have a frame such as the pickup hitch frame to stop the linkage going down before the loader, and a tap on the loader to lock it out for linkage work. Just connect the tap to any of the outputs on the lift cover, or to the trailer tipping pipe (if fitted).

We have a 1959 MF 35 (Standard 23c) with a loader and a front mounted pump. Our MF calls for a minimum of 90 hydraulic Mineral Oil. We use 100 in it because the 90 is a special order. You can't use a 10w30 type oil in there, it is not good for the pump!! 100 works fine, no problems in the winter at all!!

80-90 was the reccomended oil for pre Multi-Power Masseys. It can be replaced with 20-20W hydraulic & transmission oil.
