i don't know what this other guy is talking about but don't lissen to it . a 44 is a good loader tractor just use your head we have two with freeman loaders on and feed round bales with it [1200 lb.bales] if you use the engine punp your loader will be a little slow and without PS they turn a little hard just grease the H out of the front pedestal bearing. use a loader the mounts on the front and back to the rear axles this way there is no stress on the tub. we have used yours for 30+ years and i have never seen any bust {{{{IF}}}} you use a loader frame that goes from front all the way to the rear axle. i did is a 33 bust because the used a cheep front mount frame all so have seen IHC M & Hs brake because of that also

Farmhand F11. It pivots the lift frame from a point directly above the rear axle, with virtually no load on the front tub. The only connections to the front frame are the thrust angles. The lift cylinders also bear on the support channels at the rear of the tractor. From an engineering standpoint they distribute the load very well.
Drawbacks are that they are big, ugly & expensive. The long lift cylinders require a large reservoir and a big pump for operation at a reasonable speed. They were supplied with a PTO driven pump & their own reservoir for that reason. But they will lift 3500 lbs. to 17' in the air, if all is right.

i will warn you right now, DONT PUT A LOADER ON A MASSEY HARRIS TRACTOR. not unless you like over stressing the tub and cracking it. not unless you like wearing out the front end on it in a hurry. the masseys never realy took well to loaders. there were loadrs made for them, but a farmall will take a loader much better.
