I am looking for cheap 100 hp tractor and am thinking about 1105 massey. For the cost of leasing a new tractor for two years you could buy two of these and still have something to show for your money when the two years is up.
What were the strength and weaknesses on these tractors? Are they basicly the same mechanicly as a 1100 series?
Why did Massey screw up when they went to the 2000 series. Everybody in our area ran 1105s. A lot ran 2000 series later. Now most of those 2000s are sitting on a Deere dealers lot.

You can see mine on the photo pages, also my 1135
Ive had both for 10+ years without any problems sense I fixed the lift valve on both of them. Probably the best deal on a 100+ hp tractor out there now, if the multipower works good then its
a good tractor.

I think they were above average tracors. The priorty valve gums up and shuts the power steering down, but they are fairly easy to clean or replace. Some burn oil and the turbos seem to have a short life. alvinnms
