165 massey diesel just died

My 165 was running fine and died all at once. When I tired to restart, it spun over like it had no compression at all. Doesnt make any noises like something is loose but spins very easy. Doesnt smoke or act like its trying to start at all. The tach cable doesnt turn either. What has happened?Thanks,David

David check the solenoid on your injector pump. Mine did the same thing I replaced the solenoidand everything is fine now.Also check fuse to the solenoid. Good luck & I hope it's something minor.Let us know what theproblem was.

Sounds like the timing gear came unraveled, and the valves don't close.
