How do you remove the axle pivot pin? Is this pressed? I have the bolt out and the book doesn't give alot of info on it. Mine has a lot of play and I have the motor out and now is a good time to replace it.

If you have the engine out you should be able to drive it out. When I changed my pin and bushing it drove out really hard. Years of rust and such. If you clean it all up good it should go back together much better. Danged if I can figure why they didn't put a grease fitting there. Your closest AGCO dealer should have or can get the parts. Good luck.

Yankee,
They didn't put a zerk fitting on it because the grease collects dirt which combines with the grease to form somerthing akin to grinding compound.

Also it is cheaper than putting grease seals on the pivot pin. Don't the front axles sit a little closer to the dirt?
