Does anybody know what engine is Compatable with a 1957 Massey TO35? I can't find a engine in good shape from back then but was wondering if maybe an
old Ford Engine would do?

The TO 35 engines are easly rebuilt because there sleaved motors. The standard diesel is a not as plentiful but still out their. If gas MF 35 & 135 4 cylinder contintel moters will fit. Some people have converted to the 3 cylinder perkins but that a lot of work. Good luck.

Steve, the Ford won't do for a lot of reasons. You must go back with the same type engine. If it is a 3cyl Perkins, that is what you shop for. If it is a 4cyl continenal, that is what you need. Unlike an auto, a tractor engine is part of the structure, and your other parts wouldn't fit, being too long or short. You may can find an engine in old junked out combines ect. alvinnms

A TO35 if a gas would have a 134 continetal, if diesel would have the 4cyl Standard diesel.
