Hi there! I just bought my first MF, an MF 150 diesel. I can find almost no info on this dude anywhere on the 'net. I have a couple of questions: What was the horsepower rating for the 3 cylinder Perkins diesel? Also, what years were these tractor manufactured? The former owner couldn't remember if it was a '65 or a '69. It's got adjustable wheels, square fenders w/ headlights, if that helps. Thanks in advance for your feedback! Jim in Texas

Hi Jim... You have a GREAT little Tractor.... The 150 is the same as the 135 except it has the F40 front axle. The 135 has the old style fenders while yours has the style of the larger 100 series tractors.

They started building them in 1964. They only built 505 of them through 1966. After 1966 they changed the serial number system and the few that were built are mixed in with the other tractors. I have heard that they built a few of them as late as 1975. What is your serial number?

You can feel proud to own her....

Thanks Clarence! I'm sure excited about getting her. I drove up to East Texas to see it, drove it around and chewed the fat with the former owner on Friday. But I forgot to get the serial number. I'm picking it up on Tuesday, so I'll get the serial number then.

I'm definitely in different world with MF tractors: you decribed the 150 as a "little tractor"! The only tractors, I've owned have been Fords,(8N and 851), and this thing seemed HUGE!

Thanks SO much for your input!
Jim
