Anyone added ROPS to a MF 135? If you used a kit, where did you get it and how much did it set you back $$?

thanks

I just put MF factory roll bar & canopy on my MF 65. It came off MF 135 but it was built for MF 255 so they all interchange

Bob,
Merry Christmas. Was wondering if you could send any pics of how you hooked up the ROPS to the axle. I was givin a 135 with a loader and the ROPES. But there are no bolts with the ROPS. I asume that you bolt it to the axle.

chuck; dont have any pics but its real simple. Rear axles have flat spot with 4 bolt holes. The rops will set on these flat spots w/o any bolts, just balances there. Then put 4 long bolts thru rops, thru top of flat, thru bottom flat holes & bolt on. Bolts also go thru fender mounts & in your case, loader mounts.

Well I have a 70 model 135 and a few years ago I put a John Deere Roll Guard on it and made my own canopy for it. Still on it and no problems at all to mention. I do not imply that this is the same as a factory roll guard for the 135. I mainly put it on the tractor for the shade, rather than the roll over protection. This is something I did for my own tractor and if anyone copies my idea they do it of their own free will. I can email you a picture of it if you like. Just give me a shout.

Gary,
Could you send me a pic or two of you 135 with canopy and the design for it. I have a 73 135 that has the factory rops and would like to put a canopy on it.

Thanks Chuck

Hey Chuck,
I'll be glad to get you a couple of pics of the canopy. Its really a pretty simple deal except I wish I had made the top about a foot wider.
I'll take the pics tommorrow. I need an email address to send it too though.
Later,
Gary

Could you expand more about BARECO. Do they have a web site? Is it a local tractor store? I am in Michigan and am looking for a canopy for my 73 MF-135 factory ROPS.
