Either an oversite by the buyer, or company;don't
recall one. More of an item to outsource. New Idea
had that galvanized flight conveyor, long-45', the
chains ran on wood(vintage mid-50's). By the 70's,
Speed-King was their supplier, but it was chains
running on steel(wear,wear,wear). New Holland
offered the "Farmec" galvanized 48' in the 60's,
and later. Zimmermann(?), out of PA, built them,
I believe the pattern of 'Smoker',a 50's era co.,
with the chains running on wood. The wood style
were good for 35 years, iron style about 10 years.
Kind of a forgotten implement, since most never
saw inside storage, faced the elements.

If you are speaking of a hay/earcorn elevator then no they did not. I would argue though with the other response as we have an elevator that we have been using for over 20 years and it was old when we bought it. I am not sure of the mfg but it is green 60' long and all steel and does a heck of a job moving hay bails way up in the barn or ear corn inot the cribs (Solid design to keep the corn from falling). As far as a grain elevator (auger style) I am unsure if they made on or not.
