PAINT COLORS for PGA 1422 MASSEY HARRIS PONY

I have a non-computing friend who is restoring a PGA 1422 Massey Harris Pony. He is not certain of the year of manufacture. He is certain of the numbers PGA1422.

Can someone on the list confirm the year of manufacture?

Also, can someone tell me the correct paint colors?? He knows its red with yellow wheels, but doesn't know the exact shade of either.

According to my MH Data Book. It's a 1948, you can cross these PPG codes I research a couple of years ago. For the yellow, you can use MBC3274, and for the MH Red, use MBC70837C. Good luck on the restoration, I too have a Pony sitting there waiting to be restored.

I ordered this one thru one of the Tractor Cats. or magazines, but can order it thru Hastings or any local book store... the codes in this book were incorrect for the paints however... the name of the book is "MASSEY TRACTOR" 'Data Book', and was compiled by Keith D. Oltrogge. MBI Publishing Company
