I bought this tractor at auction as a basket case with bad perkins and some missing parts. Now I found a MF65 suposed to run with all the missing parts I need to rebuild the 165. Does anybody know if the engine longblock and powersteering bolt up to the 165. The 65 is rough but restorable but I would prefer to build the 165. Thanks for any info.

If both tractors have the Perkins diesel engine everything will bolt up the power steering lines may be different on them but the pump will work if bother are diesel.

I am not sure about answering your question on the long block or if any of the parts are interchangable. Go to Bid Deans site or e-mail him he surely can answer those questions.

If you decide to restore the MF 65 and want to get rid of any of the parts on the MF 165 please e-mail me I may be interested in some micsealleous items. e-mail me at [email protected]. Good luck on either tractor
