The model 1100 massey-ferguson gasoline fueled tractors used this motor, we had one with this engine for about 10 years, they are a good motor but be cautious of where you put the valve springs as exhaust and intake are not interchangeable, we purchased the tractor after someone had made this mistake with the result of a head popping off an exhaust valve with catastrophic (and very expensive!) results. We repaired the motor and after it got tired we made frame rails for the tractor and fitted a 478 cubic inch gas V-6 from a 1963 G.M.C. semi tractor and have been using this 236 h.p. combo for about 12 years now with very good results. I believe also that the Waukesha motor only had 4 main bearings, but had very heavy rods and crank. The old motor from our tractor is currently owned by Worthington Ag Parts in Leesburg IN. (1-574-453-4713). It was burning oil and may have some cylinder damage due to it's setting outside, I believe that the exhaust and intake manifolds are gone as well as the rocker train but all else is there, it does have a low time re-conditioned head on it. If you call them talk to Gene or Butch or Bill and tell them it was Marty's old motor and is in the core pile, I am sure they will sell it to you.

I think that was the gas engine offered in the 1100. I don't know if they sold any or not.
