I would like to know if Massey Harris made a white 44 Wheatland? The one I have is white under the red paint or if someone just painted white over the years. I just bought the tractor and I am planning on restoring it and wondering what color to paint it.

The unstyled MH 25, the unstyled Challengers and some 4 wheel drives were painted green with red wheels. The 201,202 and 203 series built in the 1940s were red and yellow.

I found an early 1940's Massey-Harris tractor in Kansas a few years ago and it was painted green. It was a wheatland tractor and looked alot like the Massey-Harris 55's; but the owner said it as a model 203; and was the original color; and it was made before the red tractors.
