Were any of the V8 Massey's turbocharged or were they all NA? Just curious. Also, what kind of problems did these tractors have and what do they weigh roughly? Thanks

The 1150's and 1155's did not come from the factory with a turbo. It is not hard to find ones that were retrofitted with an aftermarket turbo. My son and I own three 1155's that are turboed and have had no trouble with them. They are putting out 185-200 hp.

My 2805 weighed about 16000 lbs with duals and fluid in tires, +/- 80 gallons of diesel. Big problems were the 24 speed powershift, power steering pumps on earlier models, hydraulic pumps-some, and main pinions. The later models tended to hold up better. V-8's weren't good when lugged, they needed more RPM's. Good Luck with one..... or Run Away.

The 640 cu. in. V8 used in Massey 2805's were turbocharged.
