I recently bought a tractor from my fahter-in-law. I am trying to identify exactly what model it is. He tells me it is a model 28, but I can't find this model mentioned anywhere. The serial # is TEA193649.

Any information would be appreciated. I am having some wiring difficulties and need to get a manual. Where is the best place to obtain a manual?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a TEA 28. It is a 1952 model.Petrol driven
and has a direct drive PTO.
There are a lot of them still up and running in New Zealand. They were the main tractor for years.
I was looking for a diagram of the fuel bowl setup
as mine has started to leak

Hi Jere

You have a 1951 Ferguson built in England and exported to the USA, the engine should be a Standard (STD)Petrol and the electrics are 6 volt,
12 volts were fitted after serial no. 200,000 so you just mist out.

This site has wiring diagrams of sort >Link

but>Link if you have a single problem, go to the left hand side of this page and find SEARCH THIS SITE get into the FERGUSON section and put in a search for your problem, it will bring up past posting and you may find the answer is there
