Tractor Serial Number

I've just recently bought a Massey Ferguson Industrial 35 tractor and need to find out the serial number, year of manufacture and exact model to enable registration. On the plate beneath the steering wheel is MF205-7 and a number i presume to be the serial number. Where can i check this information and find out the year of manufacture? Please can anyone help?

Jim I think what you have is an industrial MF205 it uses a lot of the MF35 parts. Here is my web site that has the MF industrial specks with serial numbers & years made. These are only as accurate as the information I had at the time a lot are from memory but most are right.

Try www.tractortips.com. I didn't see a 205-7 but they do list 205 and 205-4. C. T.
