I have a Massey Ferguson 50 that was totally rebuilt 5 years ago. Where can I find out what it is worth? I don't want any more gas tractors!

Thanks.

In my neck of the woods, the MF50 sells for less than the MF35 and MF65. If it is in really good shape and a gas, I'd say between $3.5 and $4K. It would be more if it was diesel.

The MF50 is a great tractor, gas or diesel. Why don't you like it and want to get rid if it?

Actually,it is a Massey 35. I was at work when I posted this and I had a memory lapse. :) I don't use it very much and would like to get something newer and smaller. Gas tractors seem to be more trouble than diesel. I was thinking it should be worth at least $4000, but I wanted to check with some experts on the subject before I started advertising it. :)

Thank you!

I recently sold a MF 35 in very good condition (recent overhaul)with a 5 ft cutter for $2800 which included delivery. I'm in the south.

Unless your MF 35 is restored (original) is the Deluxe model has powersteering, new tires, paint etc. you will have difficult time selling for $4000 US unless you are willing to wait for the "right" buyer. Check the Photo Ad archive on the left margin of this web page. Personally I think a gas tractor is just fine for infrequent use
