I've had very good experiences ordering from the company that is linked to from this website. Shipping has repeatedly been prompt, and prices seem reasonable. If all you need is a filter then you can likely find what you need at a Napa auto parts store or other large auto parts store especially those that are close to rural areas. The auto parts stores close to my place all carry oil filters for MF35's with the continental engine.

As for oil some say use only what the operator's manual says to use, typically 30 wt or 20wt if really cold outside. Other's say Rotella 15w40 or Delo400 which I think is also 15w40. If you'll do a search of past postings on this forum you'll find all kinds of opinions on what the proper oil to use is. Lots of helpful info on this site, enough to help you make a well informed decision. Just do a search on 'oil'.
