I have a TO35 Massey-harris-ferguson. I was told that it is a 1956. The seat has a back with a cushion and it looks too knew to be original. The seat bracket swings back and a little up to make it easier to get on and off.I want to put it back all original and I'm not concerned about comfort. I want to know what seat and type of bracket came on the tractor and where I might be able to purchase them. Thanks, Tony

Tony, your seat was original on your model tractor. It was designed personally by Herman Klemm, the chief engineer on the TO-35 project. He spent considerable time making certain the seat was comfortable for his own behind. He must have done a good job as that same seat was used on many subsequent Ferguson and MF tractors.

Tony...I cant say yes that your's is orignal...but
on my 56 to35 it had a pan seat with a sightly higher than normal back and a smallish back rest running across it and bottom cushing. Aftermarket seats are avaible that look just like factory orignals. If your intrested in an orignal pan with cushings and brackets I have one My Dad bought this tractor new.I replaced mine with a different style the pan seats are not that comfortable to me.
I can post pictures if you need them.

best wishes
