Looked at a tractor today. Serial# says 30GR-9757, can anyone tell me what this is? I am not familiar with Masseys's. It is narrow front, in good shape and has a "live" lift but not live PTO. Also the engine has the spark-plugs on the top...pointing to the sky. I had never seen a tractor that looks like this one. Its in good shape, whats it worth? How many horse-power should it have? thanks, Jeff

Jeff, ser# 30GR means, model 30, gas, row-crop. It should have a continental F162 engine, check on engine for ser# tag. Engine parts are still availlable through NAPA. Not sure of HP but I think around 25.

What you have is a 30, the 33 never had a flat head engine in it as you discribe in your post with the spark plugs on the head. as for worth, cant tell you.
