I have a Massey-Harris Ferguson T035 that has 7.50 x 16LT tires on it. I know these are not the original tires. I tried to reverse the rims to narrow the front end and the tires are hitting the ball joint. I was told that the original tire was a 6.00 x 16 3 rib tire, but when I compare the width of the existing tire to the width of the 6.00 tire, it doesn't seem to be much narrower. I would like to know what the original size is and also what size will allow me to reverse the rims in to achieve a narrower stance without hitting the ball joint. Thank You

Orignal front tire size is 5.50x16 and yes some 6.00x16 5.5 wide with 3 rib tires. Sounds like you do not have the correct wheels if you have them turned around correctly dish (bowl shape pointing inward towards tractor) and the tire is hitting you have the wrong tire size width wise. You can narrow the front by the front axle's just move them in to the last bolt holes. It is not recommended to trun front wheels around because the wheel nut are concave and match the wheel.
If you need to see what it looks like on the lft side of this page is picture galleries click there and look at a to35 picture. If I remeber correctly you front "stance" will be just around 5ft all the way in.

Best wishes

I'm not sure on this but I don't think oyu reverse the front wheels. I htink you adjust the width by letting out the axles by using all those bolt holes you see up there.
