AT6354 rebuild question

I have an 1130 that could use rings, pistons, and sleeves. I've never done a Perkins rebuild, or anything w/ dry sleeves before. The manual states that the factory sleeves (as I believe are still in this engine) are pressed in, and the rebuild sleeve are NOT a press fit. My question is how difficult are these factory pressed in sleeves to remove? Can I do the engine "in-frame", or am I going to have to fight with it to remove these liners. I know from experience that even some wet sleeve engines can be bears to get the old sleeves out of. Thanks in advance.

they are thin, sharp, and brittle. best way to remove is use a welder and pull a arch in side the sleave go fast as not to burn through. this will make them crack and then you can remove them. if you do not pull crank make sure you cover it in each cyl. when you pull a arch. to get new sleaves in put them in freezer over night and move fast when putting them in
