My tractor had a bad alt., which was a Chrysler; replaced it with rebuild, but not certain if wiring is correct(new tractor). Does anyone have the wiring diagram, or know which of the two small unlabelled alt. terminals corresponds to the "2" designation on the Delco alt. referred to in the article on converting to 12 Volt? Thanks

Are you the same George that asked about alternators on 10/24/03? A lot of people use delco 10si alternators wired as explained in the response to the 10/24/03 question concerning alternators and readiators. The 10si is a tried and true solution, very common, very cheap.

Get in contact with Big Dean, he can help you, or get a one wire alternator and be done with it.

Yep, same George. My 202 was set up to a Chrysler Alt, so I thought I'd use a rebuilt one, as brackets already in place. Problem was, it does have an external regulator, which was also bad, $11.00 extra. Both are new now, so guess I'm set. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks Again...
