does 165 low profile have a filter on the hydraulic system. my hyd lines for loader come out of plate with PTO lever on left of trans. Also, if starter wont work when turn switch to start but I can jump solenoid and it will crank is it the neutral safety switch that is bad?

My 165 had the same problem with the starter switch not working. The problem was that the wires on the ammeter terminals were corroded and burnt, so the starter switch didn't get the 12 volts . I also suspected the neutral switch, but it checked out ok.

Could also be the starter switch. Hydraulic has a screen/filter on the inlet of the pump. Lee

Some 165s have a hydraulic filter in front of the radiator.
