Hi, I have a freind that has a 1959 model MF85, with a 223ci gasoline engine. His tractometer has given up on him and he has been trying to locate a new or good used unit. Does anyone know of anyone who might have a tractometer, cable and housing or maybe someone could put me on the right track of where I might find one? I would really appreciate any help that anyone can give me. I have a photo of the tractormeter that I can email if that will help in finding the right one.

Thanks and have a great day, Don Tuthill

Fred, Thanks for your quick response. Where can I have the tractormeter repaired? As I said in my query, it is my friend that has the tractor. He is not into computers and I thought I'd see if we could find some help on the internet. I've heard that there are companies that repair instruments but I haven't been able to find any. Earlier this past summer I sent out several emails to companies advertising that they repair tractormeters but unforunately I did not recieve any response. I live in Stockholm, Sweden so it is somewhat hard for me to make contact with companies in the US other than what I can find on the internet. I would appreaciate it very much if you could give me some info about companies that repair instruments of this kind. My friend's father bought the tractor new 1959, so it is just not another tractor but one that is very close to him. I hope you can help us out. Thanks again for your quick response.
Have a great day!
