Is there a way to disassemble the tractormeter on the MF 135 and reseal it to keep out moisture?
Thanks,
Shannon

Hi Shannon

Had same experience with some Tach and gauges
I removed tach from the dash and drilled two small
holes one on top and other bottom rear of the case to let air circulate inside. I put a sleeve over the drill
just to let the tip to perfore the casing thichness only in order to avoid damaging components inside. After doing this operation It takes several hours to moisture to get out.

On tractors which the light switch allow to put instruments ligths only while working you can sometimes switch meter ligts on it will keep inside of meters dry.

Shannon.....because of the rolled crimp seal on the meter there's no way to take it apart without destroying the lip ring.....what you can do is take the meter off the tractor and place it under a drop light till it dries, then try to reseal the lip with a sealer like silcone sealant you may have to seal around the case screws and the drive cable nipple too...I have resealed a couple of meters this way.....

hope this helps...
best wishes
