Replaced a rear tire a couple of days ago and the guys aired it up to 25lbs. I had them air other rear tire up to 25lbs. This seems kinda high. The tires are 12.4x28 R1 6ply, no fluid, and the heaviest load I expect to pull or lift is a 5ft rotary mower. What would be a good pressure to run?

25lbs seemed like too much. I'll drop the pressure down to 15 and see how the tires look on concrete.

Thanks

Someone mentioned lately that if you place the tractor on a hard surface, the bottom of the tire should all make contact with the hard surface. So let air out til this happens, and tell us where it's at. It'll probably be between 10-12 pounds... Try it, and let us know

My 4 ply 12.4x28 have a max pressure of 16lbs. Your 6 plys might hold a little more. I run mine at 14lbs and am quite happy on my MF35.
