The 202 I just bought is leaking fluid from the hydraulic pump behind the grill, in front of radiator. Doesn't seem to leak when loader is in use. Leak drips from bottom center of casing. Questions are: 1. Is this pump for the lift?
2. What is the likely cause, ie, seal on drive, or gasket 3. Where might I find the appropriate seal or gasket? 4. Is this system connected with the main hydraulics at the rear?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, but appreciate any help.

It probably is your pump seal leaking they will leak a lot of times when the engine is not running & stop when they are running. You would probably be better off to remove the pump & the seal & take it someplace that sells seals & have it matched up. through the years those old tractors have had pumps of all type used as replacements. That pump is for the loader & backhoe if you have a backhoe. The pump for the three point lift is located in the rear housing of the tractor. If I can be of further assistance email me.
