I have to sell my 1969 MF 165 gas powered tractor. She has a Perkins 45 or 48 hp engine. I bought a quick connect front end loader new just last year (2700.00) Her paint, rims and tires are great. She has an air seat and drives and rides like a Caddie. I hate to sell her, but I have to. Can anyone give me a price or tell me where I can find out what she is worth. I hate to let her go for less than she is worth.

when you added your front loader, what type (brand) did you decide on and Why??? How did you get a new loader for $2700???? Did you add a front mounted pump to run the loader and if so where did you get it and how much $$ ???. I have been looking for a loader and front mounted pump for my 165 dsl but have not taken the plung yet. I have been tring to find a deal, just havn't found one yet. (I have been looking at a Bush Hog brand loader 2426QT)

I live in Ohio and I got it in Cridersville. My wife says now that it was almost 4000.00 for the loader and the installation. No, it does not have a front mounted pump. This tractor is like one of the family, I hate to get rid of her. I bought a Century 28 horsepower last year. Almost 20,ooo. It has a front end loaderon it, but it is not the tractor that "Fergy" is. You must think your Massey is great, too. John

My Used Tractor Price Guide, 2002, gives values for a 1969 MF-165 as follows: Fair-$2,980, Good-$4,150, Premium-$$5460. If had model number could do better. Not certain but seems I've heard around $800 for loader; that's a guess, mostly.

Good Luck
