Hi there gentlemen

A friend of mine has a MF240-2 year -80. He has problem with the hydraulics. He bought it three years ago and so far he only used it hauling a trailer. So he has not been in need for any lifting. Is there a switch valve for 3p-lift/ext hydraulics (it is equipped with "lots of hyd. hoozes" for external use. He seems also having trouble making the PTO run. Any hints?

it is equipped with "lots of hyd. hoozes for external use" could implies a lot of troubles, air pockets, ...; I had a similar trouble on a 275 and I moved (back and forth and many times), the flow adjustment lever (RH cover)and the hydraulics came back. Hope it helps.

I think i suggest him to take away some of the ext.hydraulics. Dont think he need them at the moment.
By the way, where is the pump located - in the gearbox or at the engine or ? Neither myself or my friend has experience of MF.
