I have a 44 special tractor and the engine is siezed on it and i was just wondering what would be the best thing to pour into the spark plug hole and let sit for a wile to try to break things free. I would prefer to do this method because the tractor turned over 2 years ago and just recently the muffler rusted off and water got into the engine ad is now seized. I also think that if i start to disasemble the engine i will be looking for more trouble than what i want to be.

I like to make a mixture with used deisel oil 1 gallon/1 cup brake fluid/bottle of heat/1 cup mineral spirts/1 cup PB penatrating oil.
the deisel oil is abtaned from a trucking company its free and it get every were. the brake fluid and mineral spirts cleans. the heat wicks up any water.the PB penatrates to alow the others to work. when you pull plugs look for the cylinders with rust on plugs. consentrate on those cylinder. it will take some time but its better than a hamer and money. dont think it will work make a small batch and try on rusted bolt.

wish you the best of luck pray that you get it unstuck.

I love to flood the entire block with kerosine and let it sit for a while. you should be able to get it to soak in to the engine well that way. you can even run an engien with kero instead of oil for cleaning out the engine and so forth. run a car that way for 30 minutes with the kero in the crank case. is this the best way? dont know, but this is the way i do it.

I have heard of welding a grease zerk in a spark plug .
Grease guns have a lot of pressure. Find a piston
half way down.

I had a siezed JD 420, I soaked the engine in fuel oil for 2 yrs, took it out and used a 4 x 4 and a 12 pound sledge and beat them out, still use the tractor to this day. Also have a MF165.

Go to your local autoparts store, ask for some chemical to unseize your engine. I can't remember the name of it but I know there is such product to help you.

First off is there water on top of pistons now? Oil floats on water and anything added will just float on the water not getting to where needed. If no water then.....
Ask ten people and you will get ten answers. PB blaster; WD40; Coke Cola; ect..... ..
I like to use olive oil. Put some in cylinder and if you have a air compressor shoot a shot of air in to force in all nook and craneys. Next put tractor in high gear. Every day walk by and try to rotate rear tire back and forth a couple of times.
Has worked for me.

.....and it probably depends on how stuck it is. I has a Farmall C that was in a flood, then sat for 5 years. I soaked with Kroil for weeks, and never did get that one unstuck, except for 1 piston at a time hammered out with the sleeve.
