The word "restored" has become the common misused
word with old iron. Someone installs a carb kit,
rewires the electrical, mounts some tires that hold
air, spray paint coated;a restored tractor? No,
only running and cosmetics improved. Paint masks
a lot of low budget solutions. Having receipts on parts purchased, doing an engine analysis with
documented figures, will begin to bring value to
your Uncle's 33D. If it is a bare bones 'standard'
not on a level with Row Crop versions, w/options
like live clutch, 3 point, WFE, cast 38" wheels.
Location: how far will the guys with money, go to
view another MH? Best to keep it, MH is good for your soul. Good luck.

It's not that they are so rare, as finding stock
of available parts are. The price of an engine O-H
kit would be close to that of a refurbished MH tractor, most models w/decent tires. You could
probably buy three this week, but unless you have
great parts access, how will you rebuild them?
Easier to with a 44RC Special, one of the best red
tractors ever built. Does the 33D still operate?
If parked, probably a parts donor. Don't be misled
into buying a money pit, to "restore".
