I have a MH 44 I want to pull, I want more horsepower, so... I have heard that you can buy the complete 4 1/16" overhaul and not have to bore any. Basically I need tips for HP, and where to find the need 4 1/16 overhaul kit. Thanks for any help

Check with the column to the left, under Marketplace. There are O-H piston kits for 260's.
Can't endorse quality or prices. Keep in mind that
an O-H on a stuck engine, hundred dollar bargain
44, still needs drive train attention. Any #90 gear oil in the transmission case? Open the cover,
to assess the steel gear set, for condition.
Water, and low oil, lead to pitted gear teeth. Not
worth anyone's time, since under stress, the teeth
can snap. Decades running in oil, is the ticket.
Your clutch may be tired, also. Good luck.

I haven't been able to find any 4" or 4-1/16" piston kits for quite a while. Is there really a source?

I was giving the puller a start on sources. If you
want to compare choices, we need to round up the
team. Does anyone want 3 7/8"? Everything seems to
be 4", and over. Try Walt's Tractor Parts, Mexico,
Missouri 888-414-4043. With the Global Economy, be
sure to ask for origin. Remember, we import scissors from China, that will not cut paper. Mr.
Brad, in Michigan, probably has the low-price, to
value, info. He always gets the bargains, lucky
guy.
