Dad has an 1130 and doesn't use the 3 Point, I was working with it the other day and it didn't work. You have mentioned a valve under the top plate( I assume in front of the seat). Is there alot of work to get to it. Everything works fine except the 3-point. I did unlock the arms too by the way.

Other than the usual things you would look for when buying a tractor, I would make sure park works by parking the tractor on a hill and testing the park position. Also the lift arms will sometimes stop working from lack of use, a valve will stick inside the top cover right below the seat. Lot's of parts are available, new and used. I own an 1100, 1130 and an 1150 and in my opinion the 1130 is one of best Massey has built.
