I am looking for a special hitch for a Massey Harris #6 mower. This part might fit other Massey machinery.
It is a heavy piece shaped more or less like the letter J. It has 13 holes all in a line down the stem of the J and 4 holes in the curved part.
It is not flat and has a couple of bends to compensate for height.
Massey Harris called this part "Universal Hitch"

If anyone has one, I would like to buy it or have you trace a pattern so I can whip one up in my shop.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Jim

Jim, A nice hitch, indeed. Any #5 or # 6 MH mower
should have one attached. Our resident MH mower
guy, in the Michigan field, is Brad. He has been
running these sickle mowers, attempted to fix a
torched cut one, a few years back. He knows where
a hundred MH tractors are sitting, throughout his
state. This hitch does not work nearly as well on
some other colors, has nothing to do with 3 point.
Two bolts secure it, in minutes, to most MH tractors. Brad should post, within a few days. He had a cultivator lift in the MH photo ads.

Please contact me at" [email protected] to see if Brad can come up with one or two of these. I actually own two no. 6's. I am looking to correspond with others who have these mowers or use them.

Thanks,

Jim
