I've recently purchased a 1959 TO35 - my first tractor.
I ordered manuals from this site. They arrived and they are photocopies. I guess that's fine, BUT, many of the pictures are illegible.

I searched this site and learned that many manuals are still available from dealers. So I called and ordered the operators manual and the parts manual. The repair manual is not available.

I searched ebay and came up with only I&T manuals, which based on comments I read here, are not that useful.

Any suggestions on how I can get a hold of a real manual? I have noticed that some manuals are available form folks who have scanned them and provided on CD. It seems like that would be fine, but I haven't found the manual I need in that format.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

On the other side, I bought my operators and repair manuals from this site. They were spiral bound and very legible. I got my parts manual from my Massey dealer. It came rapped in plastic, three hole punched and there were several pages that are not legible. Luckily, it was pages for vinyard and orchard models.

Guess it's the luck of the draw.

Interesting. This is the first I've heard of legibility problems with dealer supplied manuals.

Maybe its just the luck of the draw. Perhaps I should order several more copies, and return all but the best one :).

Guy; I have rebuilt a Oliver 88D and four different Johnnypoppers with the help of I&T shop manuals. I think they are condenced versions of the originals but if you are mechanicaly minded they will help you a lot. Harold.
