I got a MH Pony from my father, that he was intending to restore, but due to his health, could not. I plan on making this a good looking, working tractor. I have not started the tear down yet, but did run it into my shed, smoking up the joint. I believe the engine needs a completed rebuild and the tires are bad and it's rusty, but overall looks like a good project for me. What I need is a source for a good manual and specs on the engine. I think the engine is fairly common but could use a source for a completed rebuild package. As of now, I don't know what oversize the pistons are going to be, or if the crank will be ground.
If anyone knows a common place for problems with this tractor, I would appreciate them letting me know.

I rebuilt my Pony engine last winter. I also have good manuals. If you would like additional information, send me an email.

If you have a NAPA store around your home you might want to check them out for engine parts. Im not sure if they sell a complete rebuild kit,but I was able to get a head gasket and some other parts there. If you have any questions about the rebuild prosses I might be able to help you. Good Luck!
