FE35 hydraulic pump repair update

For DouroBob and anyone else who needs to know I can confirm that the pump rebuild kits available from Sparex in UK will work ok with the older Mk1 pump in the FE35. (type without filter and with old style 20mm pistons like TE20 pumps) Vapormatic kit probably would be the same and so the cut-off serial number in their on-line catalogue (after tractor no. 65684)is probably misleading. My experience suggests that if kit is the same as the Sparex, it will fit earlier pumps without any problem provided both pistons and valve chambers are changed as a set. Only real differece I can see is that pistons are 23mm diameter and have a ring on them. Other parts seem identical. Thanks to John UK and Jack in NB for advice on this. You did tell me it would be ok.
