I picked up one of these today for some work around the farm and such. One problem is that there is some slop/play in the backhoe when going from side to side. IE you stop it but it travels another 4-10 inches. What is need to fix this? Also does anyone know what the digging depth and reach on this thing is? I can measure the reach but I won't know the depth until I dig a hole.

std. hoe digging depth is 16ft. 4in.all hoes have a little after swing it is so there is not so much shock in the hyd.system if it stoped all at once you will spin the tractor around

Thanks for the info. How does that compare to an average sized extra-hoe of today? Any other info I should know about the beast (except that it seems to be rare and hard to find parts for). Now all I have to do is find a cylinder for the bucket. The ones on there should be fine but the one does leak abit
