What year and model tractor do I have???

I have what I think is a Harris-Ferguson and the only serial number I seem to be able to find is TO-104830. Is this a TO-30 model??? If so, how do I determine the year of manufacture? I believe it was made in Detroit.

Lou - Mike is correct if your SN is 4830 (assuming the first two numbers you gave may be hard to read and could be construed as "20" - part of the TO 20 prefix. But if the SN is the full six digit number "104830" after the TO 20 prefix, then yours would have been built in 1952.

What you have is a 1949 TO-20. The TO stands for tractor overseas, meaning it was probably built in Detroit as you assumed. The serial #'s for the TO-30 don't begin until 60001 and yours falls before that, therefore it's a TO-20.Hope this was some help.
