Been using it all day. I got to looking and the front emblem is Ferguson (?), it has a 134 Con. engine, there is a plaque for a TO35 but it has live PTO and power steering. I thought only the 35 or MF35 had that. This is a TO35, right?

The TO 35 and M.F. 35 are mechanically the same.

That's what it looks like from what I've been seeing. Thanks. Is the serial number the best way to tell exatly? The reason I ask is it appears to be a TO but has MF-35 decals which, when looking through the photos on this site, I saw another the same way that said the previous owner had put them on. Some things on this one say MH, some MF and the front emblem is just F.

Going to take some pics the next day or two and post them so maybe I can compare them to others. Is the TO just a little older?

The TO35 came out in 1955 and was grey. A few years later it was painted red with a green drive train, but I think was still a TO, and then later was renamed the MF35. They are basically the same.

an easy way to tell if it is a TO or a MF is the casting nos a TO will have TO then the no a MF will have aMF then the no there are a few Exceptions we had a TO 30 and to replace the diff housing it had MHF then the no these nos will be on the trans mission diff and rear axle housings

But basically if it says TO somewhere (like on the dash) it is a TO I would guess. Sound right to you guys?

Will the shop manual have all info as to what emblems and decals and such should be on it? I want to be able to use somthing as a restoration guide. Like I said I think someone put MF35 stickers on the hood. It says MF35 with the arrow kind of thing. Is it supposed to have a side emblem instead?

To be honest, we bought from a reputable dealer, I know next to nothing about Masseys and spent most of my time looking at it from the drivers seat. I need some pictures to compare to others on this site. It is in very good condition mechanically and looks real good but I would like to start restoring but just with things that need to be restored like the seat cushions and steering wheel. They need to be replaced so I may as well put the correct peices on it.
