The 85 is a very good tractor. I have two MF 85 gas tractors and a Super 90 diesel. They are working tractors. No need to trade them for some other color. Also have a 50 and 97 diesel.

Why bother with such a lame model? This was not a
dependable tractor, working farms traded these for
different colors, instead of shop time. Another
stumble from MF, drop axles, no frame, light gears, save your money. Good luck.

If it HAS to be red & grey, go with the replacement, reluctantly, Super 90, not by
endorsement though. A 1955 MH 44D Special with
Hitch-All, is the real Working Tractor. May
lack factory PS, but no 85 delivers the goods
like a Brute Massey-Harris. Just one opinion,
from someone who was around these tractors.
Good luck.
