need to know what is the best paint,what is the right color. would light to use a auto single stage, also where do you get the right Decals

I have heard of guys using PPG, NAPA & (Tisco??) (I think) paints. Your local MF dealer can give you the Paint Codes so you can get the colors mixed, also there is a "Paint Codes" on the left of this site under Research & Info.

As for the Auto Paint, A friend painted his Ford 3600 & Implements Base Coat/Clear Coat. The tractor looks like a show tractor, great shine long lasting, etc. I am going to get him to repaint my MF 165 dsl. (It is really up to you but the better paints, hardener & clear coat usually gives you better out come. My opinion)

As for the decals look on E-bay under Massey Ferguson. You can probally find a complete set for a good price. If they don't have a set for your tractor just e-mail the seller, they usually can make a set.
