I have purchased a massey harris row crop tractor. The ser# plate is gone. I have found that the tractor look's a lot like a 44 but I can't find any good data books or close up picture's of row crop 44 to find out.Are there any other way's of finding out what the tractor is? It has a zenith carb, hand clutch,4cyl. gas motor and factory hydralics. Are htere any block number's or casting number's that will help me figure out what this old girl is?

the carb just came it away. it is a 44, 44spcail or 444. you will find on the to cover of the tranny by the foot clutch. it is not on the raise plate, but right infront of it. most likey covered up under mud crud and ofther stuff. if you were to have a 44 gas rowcrop it yould start like this. 44 g1rf
